I live in rural Neshkoro, Wisconsin. I paint primarily with acrylic because it is so versatile. My personal journey as an artist began when I received my first set of oil pastels as a prize for an art contest in 5th grade. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a degree in art, I worked as a graphic artist for a major corporation in Milwaukee for many years and taught painting classes. I have won numerous awards. You will find many vibrant colors in my artwork because color makes me feel good and shows my view of the world around me which I enjoy sharing with everyone. Painting is a very exciting experience and gives me a reason to get up in the morning and it is the last thing I think about before going to sleep at night.
